DESCRIPTION:<p>Doctor Who wouldn’t be the same without it’s heroes and comp
 anions. Companions allow us – the viewer – to have a human connection to t
 he time-travelling alien. While heroes come in all forms – human or alien 
 – and can be found helping The Doctor..</p>\n<p>This month we take a look 
 at some of those who can be called The Doctor’s friends.</p>\n<p>We will b
 e running a couple of discussion panels on companions and heroes. We look 
 back at the companions and heroes over the years. Followed by a countdown 
 of the top 20 companions.</p>\n<p>There will also be a wrap up of the 2017
  Christmas special. What we liked and didn’t like about it\, and what we t
 hought of Jodie Whittaker’s first appearance as The Doctor.</p>\n<p><em>Me
