Companions allow us – the viewer – to have a human connection to the time-travelling alien. While heroes come in all forms – human or alien – and can be found helping The Doctor.. This month we take a look at some of those who can be called The Doctor’s friends. We will be running a couple of discussion panels on companions and heroes. We look back at the companions and heroes over the years. Followed by a countdown of the top 20 companions. There will also be a wrap up of the 2017 Christmas special. What we liked and didn’t like about it, and what we thought of Jodie Whittaker’s first appearance as The Doctor. Meeting theme and information may be subject to change without notice. Meeting Information Doors open @ 1:00 pm, activities start @ 1:30 pm.
