DWCV November Meeting – Anniversary/Christmas Party @ Northcote Town Hall
Nov 22 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

It’s that time of the year again, and we will be holding our annual end-of-year meeting. We will be holding a combined Anniversary and Christmas Party to celebrate all that is Doctor Who and to say goodbye to the end of the year. We will update this page with more information on activities closer to the date.

One of the usual highlights of this meeting is that we have more people selling their merchandise at this meeting. If you are interested in having a table, please contact us in advance for more information and also availability.

Tea and coffee provided as well as some snacks (no additional cost), soft drinks and bottled water can be bought for $1.

Admission prices:
Members: $10
Non-members: $13
Kids under 12: $2
Kids under 2: Free

*Due to this being an all-day event, our usual ‘gold coin donation’ for first time attendees will not be available as we need to cover the higher cost of hall hire.

The Whovian Parade @ Melbourne CBD
Nov 23 @ 12:00 pm

The Parade will meet outside the State Library (near Melbourne Central). It starts at 12:00pm, so we advise that you be there 11:30am latest. Once everyone is assembled, the parade will go down Swanston St, head towards Flinders St Station. We will take a detour on Bourke St. (head down one side to Elizabeth St, go up the other to Swanston St) Going over the bridge, we will take a left at the Hamer Hall, and travel down Southbank Promanade to Queensbridge Square, where the red steps are. Why? Well, if you close one eye and squint it kinda looks like Cardiff. (Those not wishing to do the parade are welcome to meet us there. Also, there may or may not be a TARDIS waiting for us there)

From here, it’s just hang out with each other until you want to leave, really.
