Just a reminder that our first meeting of the year is on this Saturday. As the first meeting back is often a warm one (and this year seems like it will be the same according to forecasts), we thought it would be a good idea to have a relaxed and fun meeting.

The first of the major conventions of the year, Supanova returns to Melbourne in April at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
Unfortunately no Doctor Who guests have been announced as yet, however for those Torchwood fans amongst us, James Masters from Torchwood returns to Melbourne.

It’s that time of the year again, where we hold our annual general meeting. All members in attendance will get the chance to vote for the 2015-2016 committee. We will also have an open forum for members to bring up suggestions and any feedback, as well as providing a survey form to gauge feedback.
Please note, that while guests are welcome at the meeting, and are also welcome to sit in on the AGM part of the meeting, voting is for paid members only.
The rest of the meeting will be fairly relaxed. We will be screening the unofficial Doctor Who spin-off “Downtime” from 1995. It features Elisabeth Sladen, Nicholas Courtney and Deborah Watling.
We will also be having a discussion panel on the upcoming new series, giving everyone a chance to comment on what they’d like to see from season 9 and general opinions.
Also social time to talk with fellow members, DVD and book sales, and kids activities! And the TARDIS console will also be there again!
